As 2023 comes to a close, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on our 102nd year in business- a year filled with accomplishments, milestones, growth, and change. We’re so grateful for our dedicated employees, their families, and of course, our customers. Your support, trust, and commitment have been the driving force behind Hamilton’s success.
This year, the Commander was our most popular selling pay station. With its slick design and innovative technology, it’s easy to understand why. The HTK and CTK also performed well, and we’re eager to see which pay station is the most popular for 2024 as the autonomous payment industry continues to evolve.
Beyond our renowned hardware, Hamilton’s Mobile Apps, custom themes, voices, and wraps were very successful this year as well. You might not be aware, but Hamilton pioneered the first privately branded car wash app in the industry back in 2017. Now, with seven years of mobile app experience, our commitment to being an industry leader and innovator is going stronger than ever.
In 2023, Hamilton’s Sales team exhibited at 8 different trade shows. The personal connections and feedback we get from these shows is instrumental in shaping our strategies going forward as a company. We’re already gearing up for our 2024 tradeshow season and can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.
In 2024, we plan to be at the following tradeshows and expos to show off our latest in pay station, mobile app, and software innovation:

- The Convenience U CARWACS Show (CARWACS)
- Parking Industry and Exhibition (PIE)

- Northeast Regional Carwash Convention (NRCC)
One of the highlights of 2023 was our partnership with the Toledo Metroparks. Like the Metroparks, Hamilton is dedicated to serving the local community where we live and work. The greater Toledo area has been our home for over a century, and we are committed to continuing to make positive change (pun intended!). In September, we delivered a 1200FL Changer to Glass City Metropark. We were thrilled last week to hear that the changer has been very effective in increasing locker usage, thereby generating revenue for the park system.
In addition to the achievements and joys in 2023, Hamilton Manufacturing experienced loss as well. Our Purchasing Manager, Bob Reny, was on his 40 year with Hamilton Manufacturing. He will be fondly remembered for his kindness, patience, expertise in his profession, and of course, his expert grilling skills, as he was the grill master for Hamilton’s regular summer cookouts. His legacy lives on in the warm memories and lasting impact he left on our company.
