Technical Support & Onsite Field Representative

This is a technical support position that includes troubleshooting and diagnosing problems over the phone. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of reading and directing the use of volt meters and reading wiring diagrams for troubleshooting purposes. The candidate would also be responsible for setting up small local area networks (LAN) and work with cloud-based loyalty programs such as phone
apps, RFID and more…

Responsibilities:

  • Providing remote applications support via phone and email.
  • Answer customer phone calls, assist callers with a variety of issues, including software and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Accurately document & record technical support calls and events into our customer relationship management system.
  • Identify and resolve technical inquiries over the phone in a timely manner.
  • Assist and train customers with new and existing equipment over the telephone.
  • Assist customers with wiring our products, wire colors and positions.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Order Entry: Placement of orders and exchanges.
  • Some travel may be required for installation and training.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of Windows PC environments and associated components.
  • Working knowledge of LAN
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft operating systems. Advanced knowledge of computer hardware including network setups.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive Attitude, Analytical Skills, and Critical Thinking.
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client representative.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Experience:

  • 1-2 years technical customer support
  • Prior help desk experience a plus
  • Basic troubleshooting

Additional Information:

  • Full-Time Position 40 hours/week
  • Our Support Hours:
    • Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
    • Monday – Friday 9:30am – 6:00pm
    • Saturday: 8:00am – 4:30pm (Rotating – Every 6th Saturday)

.Net Web API Developer

What will our .Net Web API Developer do?

The primary role is to develop and manage software solutions that interface with our cloud-based services, custom mobile app program, and pay stations.

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to evaluate and translate business requirements into technical specifications, establishing scope for web API development
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy web API’s
  • Maintain and support web API’s post-deployment, enhancing and/or implementing new features as the market demands
  • Support front-end web developers as needed
  • Meet stated milestone dates and deadlines
  • Evaluate development processes for improvement
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years development experience
  • Must be familiar with the software design cycle from initial design, development, and testing through to deployment and long-term maintenance
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
  • .NET, .NET Core, C#, WCF, Entity Framework
  • Knowledge of RESTful principals
  • Knowledge of software development security best practices
  • Experience with Database Architecture and Database Management

Preferred but not Required:

  • BS in Computer Science Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related field
  • Experience with:

Software Support Specialist

In addition to offering hardware to thecar wash and parking industries as well as the laundry and vending industries, we also have our own software program (Hosted Solutions) and work with car wash site owners to develop their own custom mobile apps and further their marketing efforts through custom graphics. We are rapidly expanding and looking to add a Software Support Specialist to our Marketing Team. 

The Software Support Specialist will act as the liaison between Hamilton Manufacturing and customer.

The ideal candidate would have the aptitude for learning new software programs & have IT knowledge. This is an in-house full time entry-level position with room for advancement and growth. 

Responsibilities 

  • Contacting customers regarding assets and items we need from them.
  • Answering customer correspondence regarding questions about app progress and technical support regarding mobile app.
  • Test and report user experience on custom apps specifically for independent car wash sites
  • Create email accounts for SMTP.
  • Work with software developer on production of mobile app requests.
  • Assist Hosted Solutions Specialist with managing app submissions within the Google Console and Apple Developer platforms.
  • Assist as needed with Hamiltonmfg.com website updates, content, and design.
  • Assist in developing training changes to address Tech. Support problem areas.

Required Skills 

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Great attention to details in following specific processes and testing apps.
  • Computer skills including:
    • Knowledge of Windows
    • Editing and saving documents both on the cloud and internal server
  • Experience with website updating, (specifically within WordPress a plus).
  • Experienced multitasker able to manage multiple tasks at once and able to shift focus quickly.
  • Experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) software program.
  • Proficient with Microsoft products including Teams and 360 suite.

  • Video production and editing skills
  • Design experience specifically with Adobe Creative Suite
